In ancient Days, People were playing Games of Luck like snake and ladder, Ludo, Cards. If they lose, they were telling that they have poor luck, so they were taking excuses and were not doing any work and led a life of Laziness

So the King in India named Balhaith, felt people should understand that they should not be simply dependent on Luck. They should believe in Hardwork and utilizing their Brain, they should work.

SO the King Balhaith Ordered a mathematician, Sissa to devise a game, which is dependent on Brain and should utilize all the functions of Brain.

So Sissa developed the game, CHESS (Chariot, Horse, Elephant, Soldier)

Later the Game of CHESS spread to the Whole world and the rules got modified over the period of time. Now there is a International Body for CHESS, Which governs everything related to chess. It is called FIDE.
